Tap Join GENZY, then fill in four short steps: your account, about you (with a clear photo of your face), your education or work, and your interests. It is free.

So classmates and lecturers know they are talking to a real person. The photo must show one clear, well-lit face. It is checked automatically when you upload it.

You must be at least 18 years old to use GENZY.

Use your email address or phone number and your password.

On the log-in page, tap Forgot password? and we will email you a link to choose a new one.

Open Settings. You can update your profile, personal and education details, password and appearance there.

Go to Settings and choose Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, posts, comments and saved items.

GENZY works in any browser. To use it like an app, add it to your home screen: on iPhone tap Share → Add to Home Screen; on Android open the browser menu and tap Install app or Add to Home screen.

Tap Turn on when GENZY offers message alerts, or go to Settings → Phone & desktop notifications. On iPhone, add GENZY to your home screen first.

Pick English, Yorùbá, Hausa, Igbo or Français at the bottom of any page, or in Settings → Language. The whole app changes at once.

Tap the sun or moon icon, or choose Light, Dark or System in Settings.

Autoplay may be off in Settings, or your phone may be in data-saver mode. Tap a video to play it.

Yes. Courses are free for GENZY members, and your progress is saved as you go.

Each lesson ends with a quiz. Pass it to unlock the next lesson. You can retake a quiz any time.

Finish every lesson, including the course project. Your certificate then appears with its own public link.

Yes. Every certificate has a unique link and ID that anyone can open to confirm it is genuine.

Open Live classes and tap Start now, or Schedule to set a date, time and repeat. You can also start one from any chat or community.

Share the join link. People tap it, and if the waiting room is on, the host admits them.

Calls with up to 4 people are free. Starter allows up to 10, Pro up to 20 and Premium up to 50. The host's plan decides.

No. GENZY puts you on hold and keeps your place. Tap Resume when you are back.

Open Plans & billing and pay securely with Paystack. GENZY never sees or stores your full card details.

Anyone can send you a message request. Messages from your connections arrive in your inbox; others wait as a request you can accept or ignore.

Hold the microphone button to record and release to send. Tap it once for hands-free recording.

They are saved on your device when they arrive. GENZY deletes its copy once everyone in the chat has received it.

Yes. Press and hold (or right-click) a message, then choose Delete for everyone. You can edit a message within 15 minutes.

Every listing links to the official source and shows when we last checked its dates. Always apply on the official site.

Do not pay. Genuine scholarships never ask for fees, your BVN, OTPs or passwords. Report the person or listing.

Yes. Tap Submit on the Opportunities page. Our team reviews it before it appears.

Tap the three dots on a post, message, profile or listing and choose Report. Reports are confidential.

Open their profile, tap the three dots and choose Block. They will no longer be able to message you or see your posts.

Other members see your name, photo, institution and level. Your email, phone number, date of birth and matric number stay private.
